Rocksprings, Texas

Set high on the Edwards Plateau in the county of the same name, Rocksprings is a small town in the Hill Country about 101 miles southeast of San Angelo and 110 miles northwest of San Antonio. It sits amid dry limestone hills, cedar, and rangeland at one of the higher elevations in the region. The surrounding ranches have long been associated with sheep and Angora goat raising, and the town has historically identified itself with the mohair and wool trade of the plateau.
