Oak Leaf, Texas
Oak Leaf is a small residential city in northern Ellis County, set in the wooded prairie country south of the Dallas-Fort Worth area about 18 miles south of Dallas. It adjoins Red Oak and takes its name from the large oak trees that grow throughout the area, and it functions largely as a bedroom community within the region's suburban belt.
