Hamilton, Texas

Hamilton is a small city in Hamilton County on the northern edge of the Central Texas Hill Country, roughly 46 miles northwest of Killeen. The surrounding landscape is one of rolling hills, oak and cedar cover, and ranchland drained by the Leon River and nearby creeks. It has long served as a trade and government center for the surrounding ranching and farming county.
