Bellaire is a small incorporated city in southwestern Harris County, set on the flat coastal plain about 7 miles from downtown Houston and largely enclosed by the surrounding city. Primarily residential, it is one of the inner-loop enclave communities of the Houston area, alongside West University Place. Its tree-lined streets and single-family neighborhoods sit within easy reach of the Texas Medical Center.
