Barry, Texas
Set in the prairie country of northwestern Navarro County, Barry is a small farming community roughly 48 miles southeast of Dallas. The surrounding land is open blackland prairie long given over to cotton and grain, and the town grew up as a rail and shipping point along the line that once ran between Corsicana and Hillsboro.
